This new addition to the LW Series is not a toy, even though it’s priced like one. It has the same high-quality features of all Oberwerk binoculars including fully broadband multi-coated all-glass lenses, BAK4 prisms, and rubber-armored aluminum body. The textured rubber has a unique “grippy” quality that makes it very easy to hold. Just like our more-expensive models, it comes with a hand-written checklist from our Quality Assurance Center in Dayton. Image quality is impressive, especially so considering the low cost. With its very wide 8.0° FOV, it’s ideal for any and all outdoor activities including bird-watching, hunting, sporting events, boating, and astronomy.
The 8x40LW includes a right ocular diopter, soft rubber ocular cover, captive soft rubber objective covers, rugged nylon case, and a strap.
