The Oberwerk Sport HD II Series are available in your choice of 8×32 mm, 8x42mm, and 10x42mm. They are based on the original Sport HD Series, but feature ED objectives, which almost completely eliminate chromatic aberration- yet are priced substantially less than our Sport ED Series. The 8×32 is the smallest and lightest of the group. They are perfect for bird-watching, hunting, nautical usage, and sporting events. Don’t worry about getting them wet- they’re completely waterproof. Because focusing is internal, the eyepieces are mounted directly to the compact ergonomically-shaped body. This eliminates the fragile ocular support arms—the most vulnerable component of center-focus binoculars. The internal focusers also allow them to focus as close as 8 ft. away!
Oberwerk’s signature broadband multi-coatings are found on every air-to-glass surface (fully multi-coated), and the prisms are dielectric coated and phase-coated for highest-possible image quality. The eyecups are continuously adjustable- simply twist to move them in or out.
