The new Oberwerk Sport HD II Series are based on the original Sport HD Series, but feature ED objectives, which almost completely eliminate chromatic aberration—yet are priced substantially less than our Sport ED Series. Available in either 8×42 (7.5° FOV) or 10×42 (6.5° FOV), they’re perfect for bird-watching, hunting, nautical usage, and sporting events. Oberwerk’s signature broadband multi-coatings are found on every air-to-glass surface (fully multi-coated), and the prisms are dielectric coated and phase-coated for highest-possible image quality. The eyecups are continuously adjustable—simply twist to move them in or out.
The Sport HD II series are built with durability in mind. With internal focusing, the eyepieces are mounted directly to the compact ergonomically-shaped body. This eliminates the fragile ocular support arms—the most vulnerable component of center-focus binoculars. The internal focusers also have a wide range, allowing them to focus as close as 8 ft. away! Don’t worry about getting the Sport HD II wet, they are completely waterproof.
