XL Series “Squeeze-Release” Objective Covers

Available for the BT-70XL, BT-82XL, and BT-100XL, these plastic covers are much faster and easier to put on and take off than the original machined aluminum covers. They’re spring-loaded to grip the inside threads that were used by the original aluminum covers, just squeeze the center section to retract the grippers. If you are tired of screwing the aluminum covers on and off, or are having problems with avoiding cross-threading, you’ll appreciate using these instant-on/off covers. Sold in pairs.
