We have a small batch of the old Oberwerk Multi-Reticle Finder model in stock. They perform exactly the same as our current MRFs. The main difference is that they have a more exposed housing. Order now to purchase a great product for an even better price!
The Oberwerk XL MRF (Multi-Reticle Finder) projects an easy-to-see reticle, focused at infinity, that is selectable between 4 patterns (shown below), and 2 colors (red and green), with 5 brightness levels using a large easy-to-operate dial. The reticle can be seen from as close as a couple inches to more than a foot from behind. It’s helpful for quickly lining up the binocular with a distant target. Steer the binocular so the reticle pattern is on your target, then when you look through the binocular eyepieces, your target will be in the middle of the field of view. The XL MRF has a red-anodized aluminum body which matches the red trim on XL eyepieces, as well as the trim rings on the XL-ED models. Mounts directly to the XL Series Picatinny rail handle. CR2032 lithium battery included.

Gorgeous finder. very intuitive. Many options: pointer intensity, pointer color, pointer shape. The battery is a CR2032’: very common . In addition , the look and feel is the same as the telescope,

This finder-scope will be a game changer for me. It makes finding any object that I see with the naked eye fast and easy.
Richard Kunz –
Great add-on and reasonably priced. It’s the first finder scope that I’ve owned, so for me the instructions could have been a little more detailed.

An excellent finder to add to the rig. Attaches easily and positively to the Picatinny rail without any shifting – this means, it maintains alignment very well and makes it a doddle to traverse the night sky. If I had to pick a nit, it would be nice to replace the hex head for attaching to the rail with some kind of a knob – it would be easier to get on and off in the dark without fumbling with a hex head key.

This reticle finder is easy to install and adjust. Construction is very good. It’s best for daytime use; at night for astronomy the illuminated reticle was simply too bright to be useful, even on its lowest setting, except for the moon. For stars and dim celestial objects, the reticle light would wash out the object. It’s too bad that the finder light can’t be dimmed further.
