This is the saddle plate we recommend for use with the iOptron HAZ31 Go-To Mount. It includes a 3/8″ screw and a 1/4″ screw, which are both used when mounting any of our XL Series binocular telescopes. Most importantly, it includes a safety stop screw, so that when the iOptron tilts the binocular to zenith (straight up) when doing its setup routine, the safety screw prevents the binocular from dropping out of the mount if the saddle clamp is not tight enough.
