The OBERWERK SE 12×50 binoculars also benefit from ED glass which improves the perception of details, reduces chromatism and allows you to observe Nature with decidedly faithful colors. I think these are binoculars to be used alongside the classic 8×32 or 8×42. Excellent – in my opinion – for birds of prey enthusiasts who want to “travel light” and for astronomy enthusiasts who don’t want to take their telescope on vacation but still want to enjoy the sky, perhaps well placed on a comfortable deck chair. In some cases it could also replace the more compact spotting scopes (50-56 mm) for prolonged observations at medium-short distances. I confirm that it is an excellent deal, especially in this price range.
