Oberwerk has managed to obtain a binocular with an optical performance much more similar to that of a binocular equipped, as you know, with two astronomical refractors. Although it is composed of two large 127 mm diameter triplets, it seemed compact, light and easily manageable by a single person. The excellent containment of chromatic aberration, the high sharpness and the excellent contrast will never make you regret the purchase. A binocular of this type, with optics of this quality, if well collimated is able to provide lunar and planetary performance very similar to that of much more specialized telescopes.
