Having somehow managed to break two well-regarded tripods with only limited use, I ultimately wound up with the BT-100XL-SD binocs mounted on the XL Fork Mount and this Manfrotto 161MK2B. If you have my aptitude for accidental destruction, it’s well worth the $.
