The Oberwerk 82XL-SD delivers true apochromatic performance in a remarkably lightweight, mid-size form. Featuring 82mm FCD100 super-low dispersion (SD) apochromatic objectives, 24mm clear-aperture prisms, and a magnesium-alloy body that weighs just 10.5 lbs, this binocular telescope achieves a perfect balance of image quality and portability. The SD optics virtually eliminate chromatic aberration, providing razor-sharp, color-accurate views up to 64× magnification — ideal for deep-sky exploration, lunar detail, or terrestrial long-range viewing.

Precision Engineering and Durability

Built to withstand years of observing, the magnesium-alloy chassis is both waterproof and nitrogen-filled, preventing fogging and protecting the optics from the elements. Extendable glare shields block stray light and safeguard the objectives, while the Picatinny rail handle allows easy attachment of red-dot finders, laser pointers, or other accessories. The ultra-wide 50–80mm IPD range accommodates nearly any observer, ensuring a comfortable, natural viewing experience.

Finished in Oberwerk’s signature Luna Pearl White with gold-anodized trim, the 82XL-SD is both elegant and engineered for performance.

An exclusive heavy-duty aluminum-frame case is included for safe transport and storage.
