Explore with Oberwerk
The Explore Series are Oberwerk’s new entry-level product line, but they have all the important features of the more expensive models. The 8×42 Explore is small and compact, easy to hold at just 2 lbs., with rugged construction and precise center focuser. Of course they are fully broadband multi-coated, waterproof, and nitrogen charged. With twist-up eyecups and 15mm’s of eye relief, those wearing glasses will have no problem seeing the entire 7.8° FOV. Includes a soft case, ocular cover, captive objective covers, and a neck strap.
Recommended Mounts for the 8×42 Explore
The 8×42 Explore is a great handheld binocular, but for added stability or extended viewing you can use a mount. For quick stability on the go we recommend the Oberwerk 2000 Monopod. For extended viewing the Oberwerk 3000 Tall Tripod is a perfect choice. Park it in front of a window and aim it on the bird feeders!
